We are one of the best acting schools in Los Angeles for young people, founded in 1996, by Jeff Alan-Lee. We provide our acting students with the opportunity to discover, nurture and explore their own uniqueness and merge that into the script to stand out on the set or on stage. In addition to working as an actor, many of our students have received acting scholarships to magor colleges and conservatories. First and foremost, at our Los Angeles acting school, our goal is to develop the young actor's craft. Through our acting programs, students develop a technique that they can take into any medium, be it stage, screen, TV, or film.

We believe that acting is an art form just like any other -- like playing the piano or learning ballet, a specific technique is needed. We believe that the young actor trained in this technique will gain versatility, and with this, much more recognition in the industry. In addition, having a solid technique builds a young person's self-esteem, imagination, and an ease with their own emotionality that can be applied to any area of life. At The Young Actor's Studio we offer acting lessons to children, teens and young adults. The acting classes at our studio are centered around encouraging and praising each student for who they are and teaching them to use their own behavior, personality, and charm in their roles.
