French gallery presents classical art and crafts like painting, pastel, fusing, batik... but also more original, like "painting" with dried plants, Russian accessories or egg carving! Our project is to be the link between artists and buyers from different countries and cultures, fully in the spirit of fair trade principles: We are in direct contact with the artists. 80% of the price you pay goes to the artist or craftsman. We do not impose any price or any artistic choice. We do our best to enlarge their audience by publishing their biography, the schedule of their exhibitions and by organizing ourselves exhibitions in our area.

Nevertheless, fair trade considers only trade from Southern countries to Northern countries. We refuse this limitation. Trade has to be fair for everybody! That's why our principles our strictly the same whatever is the country of the artist or craftsman. Other difference with the "official" fair trade: Works presented on the website remain the property of the artists who are free to try to sell their works elsewhere. One exception: When we need to actually have the works to exhibit them, we pay 50% of the price in advance. Works not sold are sent back to the artists at an agreed date. To summarize: If you buy through our gallery, you are sure to give money to an artist or a craftsman and not to a chain of intermediates who exploit the work of other people.
