Taylor’s short stories (one of which was nominated for a Pushcart Prize), essays and book reviews have appeared since 1992 in the Santa Monica Review, Thirteenth Moon, Threads, Sojourner, and the Los Angeles Times. Taylor was working as a research associate at UCLA’s School of Public Health, administering a variety of AIDS studies, when a life-long fascination with medical history and epidemiology led her to begin work on "Drummer." |
