	This website is dedicated to those people who love tattoo designs and tattoo art. Not just tattoo artists and enthusiasts, but those who sincerely appreciate this unique form of personal expression. Tattoos have been found on mummies dating back to the end of the second millenium, so it is very likely that the art of tattooing goes much further back. The 21st century has enjoyed a huge renaissance with renewed interest and appreciation for tattoo art and the art form itself. Reality T.V. shows such as L.A. Ink, and Miami Ink have served to fuel the fire. Vintage tattoo artist Norman Keith Collins (AKA) Sailor Jerry popularized the art in the 1930's, 1940's and 1950s and influenced other tattoo artists such as Kat Von D and Ami James as well as pop culture legend Don Ed Hardy who actually studied under Sailor Jerry.
