The mission of SoMMA is to reach out to dedicated, innovative artists working in mixed media and collage; to share their collective knowledge, exchange ideas and techniques as well as to mentor one another. Our goal is to increase public awareness and to introduce mixed media and collage as a viable and important contribution in the fine arts community and to provide support and educational opportunities for the beginning student to the professional.

	A few Benefits of Joining SoMMA: Giving you the opportunity to enjoy and participate in the following: Six bi-monthly meetings with lectures and demonstrations in a variety of Mixed Media. One/two casual ‘Gatherings’ though out the year. Two annual workshops with instruction by international artists. Mini-workshops will be announced (one day, usually 4-6 hours). Bi-Monthly newsletter. Two annual juries shows with cash awards and in-kind awards.
