The Research Centre for Gender Studies is a multi-disciplinary research concentration at the University of South Australia. It comprises researchers from the Divisions of Education, Arts and Social Sciences and the Division of Business. The research centre fosters excellence and creativity in research and postgraduate training on gender by bringing together the research interests and teaching expertise of university members across nine disciplines. The Research and Education Unit on Gendered Violence is a research unit with membership links to the Research Centre for Gender Studies. Research in the unit attempts to highlight the significant impacts of gendered violence and identify strategies for service response and prevention.
