Raffit Ribbons was founded in 1989 in New York City by two sisters, Michele & Brandy Faskowitz, who were creating elegant gifts, but found elegant, easy to tie & affordable ribbon hard to find. They produced the first raffia ribbons in vibrant colors and showed designers how to create beautiful presentations with great ease. The packaging was simply a vintage spool, logo & label of sepia on crème. The White House has called on Raffit Ribbons for the second year to design ribbons for their annual Easter Egg Roll on the White House South Lawn. With personal approval from the First Lady, our ribbons were selected to be tied on hundreds of Easter baskets for the celebration.

Description: Raffit Ribbons - Beautiful Ribbons, Trims & Embellishments
Seven years later Michele married Eliot Raffít (it was a sign) who expanded the collection to include fine ribbons & trims, twines & cords, feathers & furs all wound on their trademark vintage spools. Inspired by the runways of fashion, careful consideration for each new addition includes selecting the finest materials, textures, styles & colors. The ribbons and trims are used for gift packaging, floral, fashion, crafts & home décor. Raffit Ribbons offerings now include the finest silks, satins, velvets & taffeta's fit to dress royalty & inspire the royal spirit.
