I was born and raised in Seattle and started drawing at a very early age. My first memory of drawing was when I was about five years old. On a rainy day I curled up on the floor and drew a picture of Native Americans watching a sailing ship land on their shores. From that moment on I realized what a powerful and emotional thing the drawing medium could be. I went through school drawing, painting and running track and cross country.
