My work can be placed under the modern art, abstract art. In almost all of my latest works, stillness, the creation of openness in the viewers mind by the use of abstract landscapes, plays an important role. The paintings in general don't show boundless, vague forms. Within tight frameworks the colors unexpectedly give a feeling of freedom, depth, tension, light. As if you suddenly become silent and just feel something opening up, a silent break through.
