Illustrator specializing in concept-driven, vivid, detailed imagery in either traditional or digital media. My name is Matt Stevens and I am a dad, husband, pug owner (2… it’s a problem), and illustrator. If you are here, then we share a common lustration! I love looking at drawings, talking about drawing, and, of course making drawings. The first images I remember making were cartoons of little squiggly guys with frizzy hair (I was a master at the frizz). Then, in sixth grade my friend showed me how to draw a really cool knight gripping a sword and riding on a horse. He showed me how to draw it step by step and my world changed. I drew that knight hundreds of times, changing his posture and expression each go around. I was hooked and have been drawing ever since.
