	As is often the case with these things, what started out as a small academic project, turned into something much larger. The academic project was dull, so let's not go there. Design talkboard is a graphic design and creative related web site. It is intended to be a web site, for designers of all disciplines. The talkboard itself had a number of industry related subject areas, with more added over time. The rest of the site will endeavour to keep up to date with design news, reviews of design software and other design related web sites. The original emphasis was always on the research aspect of design and there are still elements of that in the current site. In particular the constantly growing, resources area will aim to reflect that. But, as a result of input from the talkboard forum, the subject matter broadened out somewhat. Moving forward the site no longer carries an interactive forum, but prefers to report on news and reviews of design related issues.
