Desideria is a very soulful, passionate and multi-faceted professional bellydancer with over twenty-five years of dance training and experience as a performer and instructor. She is a seasonal Performance Artist, choreographer, instructor and costume designer from NYC. Now residing in the South Central CT area. Born to European parents with Spaniard/Roman/Russian descent with past French/Austrian and Kashmiri ancestry background. Exotic and multi-cultural. It Explains her fiery passion for the Ethnic dance in any form. Dance has been and will always be her passion in life. A life long dream and journey to be a performer has drove her ambitions to thrive and be the best Originally trained in classical Russian ballet at Princeton University, she was captivated by bellydance’s emotion and excitement and started training in1990 with Serena of NYC. Since then she has furthered her dance training.

	Desideria is diligent in exploring, learning and practicing her many dance forms and styles. She has devoted her life to dance. She performs with the true passion and love for the art form. And performs nationwide at many cultural, public events, functions, restaurants and celebration. She brings joy to her audience with her allure, grace, charismatic and Vivacious stage presence. With femininity, Fluidity of movement and elegant grace. Desideria is also fluent in many European languages and is knowledgeable in the cultures in which they come from. There fore she has a complete understanding of her ethnic dance styles and does her very best to portray authenticity in any form. Desideria has performed all through CT, MA, NYC and NJ as well as international ( most recently in Venezuela and Denmark).
