Julie-Anne Graham studied Embroidered and Woven Textiles at Glasgow School of Art and Womenswear Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins, London. She has worked locally with Bronagh Griffin at Design Inc, assisting with design work for the exclusive men’s shirt brand One Like No Other. Her passion for recycled clothing grew from coordinating the Trash Fashion Project for New Belfast Community Arts Initiative for three years. This project worked with community groups and schools to teach design and sewing skills using recycled clothing as the raw materials. Curious Tales was formed in 2007 after Julie-Anne won a NESTA award to support Creative Entrepreneurs and blends her passion for fashion, recycling and creative writing. She has been part of a local writers group for the past 6 years.
