The Conference of Northern California Handweavers, Inc. was founded in 1953 to further the art and appreciation of the craft of handweaving. Today, the member Guilds of CNCH embrace all fiber arts associated with weaving. Our membership includes not only weavers, but also dyers, basketmakers, and spinners.

Description:	Conference of Northern California Handweavers
	Northern California is one of the few areas of the country that still holds annual conferences related to the fiber arts. These events are put on by the volunteer efforts of the membership, people who are dedicated to their art and craft and want to insure the continuance of the long traditions of fiber arts. The conferences feature speakers from throughout the world who are recognized artisans in their field. Also included are special exhibits, seminars, workshops and a commercial marketplace.
